The class was working on their diorama of the desert. Phoebe put the toy desert animals into the diorama. Carlos didn't think the animals would be able to survive in the hot and dry desert. They went on a field trip to experience the desert. Magic School Bus flew to the desert. They learned how animals cool down their bodies and the various adaptation for life in the desert.
