During a baseball game recess, Dorothy Ann raced out onto the field with a physics book. She told them the book was so important and that the coolest thing and it would change our lives. Everyone laughed at her. Ms. Frizzle arrived with the Magic School Bus. Everyone was aboard. The bus drove right into a World Without Friction on the book. Ralphie couldn't stop moving on the frictionless field. The Class played baseball on the field. Wanda threw the ball ,but she slid backward. Also the ball was too fast without friction. It was time to go back to the world with friction. Everyone was aboard ,but the wind blew and the book cover had smacked down onto the bus. The class piled letters near the book's spine so the bus was able to get out of the book. They came back and were able to play on the baseball field with friction.

야구시합 중 휴식시간에, 도로시가 물리책을 가지고 야구장으로 달려왔습니다. 그녀는 그 책이 너무나 중요하고 가장 멋있으며 우리의 삶을 바꿀 수 있다라고 이야기했습니다. 모든사람들이 그녀를 비웃었습니다. 프리즐 선생님이 매직 스쿨 버스와 함께 도착했습니다. 모든 학생들이 버스에 탔어요. 버스는 책에 있는 마찰이 없는 세계로 들어갔습니다. 랄피는 마찰이 없는 경기장에서 몸이 움직이는 것을 멈출 수가 없었어요. 학급 친구들은 마찰이 없는 경기장에서 야구를 했습니다. 완다는 공을 던졌지만 뒤로 밀려났습니다. 공 또한 마찰 없이는 너무 빨랐습니다. 이제는 마찰이 있는 세계로 돌아갈 시간입니다. 모든 학생들이 버스에 탔습니다. 그러나 바람이 불어와 책 표지가 닫히면서 버스와 부딪혔습니다. 학급 친구들은 글자들을 책 중심부에 쌓아두었고 덕분에 버스가 책으로부터 빠져나올 수 있었습니다. 그들은 돌아와서 마탈이 있는 야구장에서 경기를 할 수 있었습니다.
