[강사일지] 영어 스피킹을 업그레이드 시키는 습관 Habit to upgrade your speaking

주니어 디베이트는 잘 만들어진 책입니다. 몇개의 연결구만으로 학생들이 스스로 스피치를 해볼수 있게 도와줍니다. Olivia는 언제나 제가 교정을 해주면 입으로 따라하는 학생입니다. 스피킹은 신체적이 기술이기에 반드시 연습해 봐야 합니다. 그게 Olivia의 영어실력을 크게 끌어 올렸죠. 다른 학생은 항상 그렇게 하진 않습니다.

첫번째 책을 끝내고 주니어 디베이트를 들어갔는데, Olivia는 약간 어렵다라고 했지만 제 판단으로는 Olivia는 학습적인 지구력이 있기 때문에 충분히 이겨낼 수 있으며 스피치와 토론기술을 배울 때라고 생각했습니다. 이제 분명히 다음단계로 나아갈 차례 입니다.

 

JUNIOR DEBATE is well made book. It let student to make their own speech with some connecting phrases.Olivia always repeat after me after I correct her mistakes. Speaking is physical skill so you have to practice physically .That helped her improve English speaking most. The most of other students not always do it. We finished the first book, and started JUNIOR DEBATE book. Olivia said it is a bit challenging but I thought it is time for her to practice her speech and debating skills. And she is capable enough to more challenging tasks. She can definitely go for the next step.
